I believe photographs should feel personal. The best portraits are more than perfect smiles. They’re the sleepy sweetness of a newborn, the proud grin of a preschooler, the excitement of a graduating senior, and the people who make a house feel like home.

Before focusing on photography, I worked with young children, and that experience still shapes the way I approach each session. I understand that little ones have their own plans, their own pace, and sometimes their own opinions about the camera!

I’ve owned Amy Joy Photography since February 2014. I photograph newborns, maternity sessions, children, families, seniors, and preschool picture days in and around Pleasant View, Tennessee.
